Rachel Reich Freed is a sought-after soprano in the Los Angeles area and beyond. Ms. Freed has performed with reputable opera companies including Opera Santa Barbara, Opera San Jose, Opera Experience Southeast, Pacific Opera Project, and Long Beach Opera. Recent roles include The Plaintiff in Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial by Jury, Nedda in Leoncavallo's I Pagliacci, Donna Elvira in Mozart's Don Giovanni, and Tatyana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. Other notable roles include Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen, Miss Hope in Menotti's The Boy Who Grew Too Fast, Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata. A recurring soloist with the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony (since 2013), Ms. Freed has performed at numerous venues including Disney Hall, Boston Court Performing Arts Center, Ford Theatres, and Gindi Auditorium.
